Embassy of Luxembourg - Washington, DC

HVAC Renovations

Originally built in the early 1900’s to serve as an American residence for the Grand Duchy or Luxembourg, the residence was later converted to the Embassy of Luxembourg and still serves in that capacity today.  The building’s HVAC system had been upgraded in the past, but had reached the end of its useful life.  APM in concert with Girard Engineering and Forrester Construction managed the full replacement of the HVAC system.  The project was conducted in phases while the Embassy remained occupied and open to constituents.  The new system is a state of the art VRF system which was implemented without impacting the beautiful original woodwork throughout the building.  This is one project where APM is happy to say that one cannot even tell that the project was completed, other than the nice cool air!
