Nestled in the middle of the woods, the Cottages create a sense of community among themselves while providing resident faculty and staff a peaceful retreat from busy campus life. The new homes were part of a Mary Mae grant program exploring economical modular housing and how they can be delivered as a means for affordable housing. The compact community was carefully crafted to preserve existing trees and to minimize land disturbance.
