Phase I at Upton Street
Phase 1 of the campus unification is the renovation of the acquired building and incorporating the additional property into the existing campus as the new home of the Upper School. Phase 2 consists of renovating existing buildings on site for the new home of the Lower School.
The environmentally responsible renovated Upper School will have science labs; a large robotics center; state-of-the-art classrooms; open areas to foster collaborative learning; outdoor spaces for students and faculty to gather and observe nature; and will be the home of the School’s new Center for Teaching and Learning. The design includes many sustainable features including solar panels, geothermal wells, and is on track to achieve both LEED Gold and WELL Building Gold.
The estimate construction value is $44M and is slated to start construction in Summer 2024.
