Gonzaga College High School
Phase I, II, And III
This was the first of several phases in the Gonzaga Master Plan that APM managed as their Program Manager. The first phase included taking the existing steam plant offline and building a modern hot and chilled water plant in the same footprint that would support new and existing buildings. Timing for taking the plant offline was crucial, and only surpassed by the need to have it back online before the heating season. This was followed by developing a free-standing steel frame in front of an existing building and developing an addition that would later be connected to the existing building during summer recess. This work and complete renovation of another existing building was largely done during summer recess and back online in time for fall classes. This by far was APM’s most difficult strategic construction project, but just one out of the many strategic projects like this completed by APM since 1994.
“Gonzaga College High School and APM have enjoyed a fruitful relationship for over 10 years.”– 2008 (Rev.) Allen P. Novotny, S.J., Former President, Gonzaga College High School
