Projects

The Catholic Diocese of Arlington, Virginia

St. John Neumann Catholic Church

APM developed construction phasing plans to allow the Church to occupy the existing building during construction, so religious services and administrative functions could continue through the process. The project included partial demolition of existing facilities, mass excavation of basement and foundations for the development of concrete, masonry, and steel structure consisting of 37,586 GSF of a new facility on two levels. The project also included a new level of 10,563 GSF for expanded classroom space and was developed at the same elevations as the existing Parish Center classrooms. There were other finishes, structural, and architectural modifications on the existing 21,199 GSF. Upon completion, the new Parish Center includes a Meeting Room, auxiliary kitchen, classrooms, and offices for the Parish.

"I was fortunate to have the excellent management of APM during this project."
